ANNOUNCEMENT TO THE MARKET
COMPANHIA SIDERÚRGICA NACIONAL (“CSN”) informs its shareholders and the market in general that it has advanced the discussions with the State Government of São Paulo, in order to facilitate the construction of a new galvanized steel plant, with estimated investments of R$ 1.5 billion.
These investments are subject to relevant corporate approvals, as well as adequate funding conditions.
Finally, CSN informs that such investments, once approved, will not jeopardize its financial leverage targets, maintaining its debt reduction plan, as already presented in its quarterly results teleconferences and in the projections in its Reference Form.
