São Paulo, November 19, 2020 – Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional (the “Company”), informs its shareholders and the market in general that, on this date, it resumed the production of Blast Furnace 2, after a temporary stoppage, informed to the market on May 29, 2020 through of Material Fact.
Blast Furnace 2 has a nominal capacity of 1.5 million tons per year, and its resumption aims at adapting steel production to market demand.
The Company will continue to monitor the developments in the COVID-19 pandemic and the possible impacts on its business, keeping the market informed of any relevant new developments.
